SunTrade sourcing and procurement is a joint venture business with Dats Pty Ltd. Dats Pty Ltd is a privately owned business that develops and supplies ranges of consumer products to major retail chains in Australia and New Zealand. The company was founded in 1979 by Graham Dickson and Kevin Thurkettle, combining their respective expertise in stationery sales and product sourcing. From the company’s inception the main focus was on stationery / office products, Pets range and Christmas products for the supermarket chains - thus the name Dickson and Thurkettle Stationery. Following expansion of its buying team in year 2000, the company had expanded its offer from stationery and premiums to include a much broader range of general merchandise, Dats has entered a joint – venture with SunTrade with prime objective to source high quality from reliable suppliers globally. Currently, Dats supplies 1,330 SKUs of products to mainstream retailers, independent stores & online stores.

The customer base of the company are the major retail chains such as Woolworths, Big W, Coles, Kmart, Target , Bunnings, ALDI and The Reject Shop.
